One of the VA Victims Here
I haven’t posted for a few days, as I’ve been busy protecting my identity and credit. I discovered three days ago through a letter from the Secretary of Veterans Affairs that my name, social security number, and birth date (and who knows what else) was on the database stolen from a home in Maryland. Since the database was stolen on 3 May, and I received my letter about my victimization on 13 June, the warning almost seems like a moot issue.
I’m disturbed about the theft. I feel betrayed, angry, and disappointed. But, this incident seems to mirror the lack of organization, skill, and ethics portrayed by this whole administration. Now that I’ve become a victim of this administration, I feel I have the right to express my feelings without criticism.
